    10/22 trigger

So I bit the bullet and starting to customize my 10/22.

I'm debating on what trigger to install, currently it is stock trigger w/metal housing I was thinking of selling this to get into a volquartsen or Kidd? Maybe a bx25?

Should I sell this metal trigger pack or send it off to brimstone for work?

If selling what is a good asking price?

    thanks

Currently have an order out for:

    Kidd ultra light weight barrel
    TS extend mag release
Raptor stock (not the sci-fi looking one)

I don't have a ton of experience with customizing 10/22s, but I did buy a Hornet Customs trigger for my wife's rifle recently.
The trigger is basically a reworked stock assembly. Very nice, crisp light pull.
If you send them your old trigger group, they will pay you $33 for it.

I just did this myself, I went with the Hornet Spitfire. After the credit for trading in a stock trigger, you're out $75-80 all said and done. I think it's a definite improvement, and good value for the price. I wanted to keep my build costs reasonable, YMMV.

I absolutely love my brimstone triggers. I have 2 of his level-2 triggers and can't imagine a better value.

I rank them as good as, or better than my RRA and Geissele

I put a Kidd two stage in my 10/22. The difference is amazing.

Brimstone is very highly though of as well. I think either would make you happy

You can install a Kidd upgrade kit in your housing. They are quite nice.

Brimstone does great trigger work. I have a top tier and it's a nice as any of my Kidd single stage triggers as far as function.

Thanks guys I'm going to give brimstone a call and see which package the recommend. The 2.25# pull sounds great.

I'm just also starting my 10/22 customization. I'm definitely going brimstone because even though I'm sure the Kidd drop in is better, I can't spend $200 on it when the rifle was only $179. And brimstone is highly rated over on rimfire central, take a look at that forum if you haven't yet

With any of its trigger jobs, Brimstone does the auto bolt release modification. Or, you can buy the part from others or do it yourself. Imo, a must have. Since a 10/22 gets shot so much, consider a more comfortable bolt handle.
