    Brno Mod1..... X2

I posted my Brno Mod1 a few years ago. It is from my father's collection. Beautiful rifle and I have shot it some over the years and found it to be very reliable and dead accurate.
    (Original thread)

Fast forward a few years. I asked my mom about some guns that she still has and she said that there were a few I should look at. Well.... I guess my dad actually bought TWO of the Brnos. Both are in NOS condition. What I believe the story was is that the guns were packed in cosmoline and stored for many years. Somebody found them and a few ended up at our local gun store where my father had built a friendship over many years. Now I was just a little kid when he got these and I'm 43 now so I could be a little bit off, but it's a cool story so I'm sticking to it.

Below are a few cell phone shots of both the rifles. What do you think?

Love my #1... I have it in a different stock at thhe moment.

Now you need a #4 to keep those two beauties company.

They both look nearly new. One has a slight hesitation in the bolt that I'm not sure about. The other is butter smooth. I'm sure it's just a over lubrication thing or something I did breaking it down and cleaning it. I'll put a few rounds through it ( when I can find some) and see how it does.

Really wish mine was that pristine, it's a 1951 that has a lot of external pitting but the bore is nice as can be. I also have a Cz-Aeron refurbed #4 that has only a few hundred rounds through it. Would love to take one of those #1's off your hands.

I've been collecting Brnos for years. Tough to find but are fantastic shooters.

Check out the model 3 Stechers.

You've got a couple of beauties!
