hello fellow calgunners. my daughter just joined in our local junior shooting markmanship program. i would like to purchase a similar rifle but not as expensive as this brand ANSCHUTZ Model. i want a bolt action similar set up you guys can recommed. thanks!!

Only problem is that the CMP will only sell those FVTs to registered youth shooting programs, NOT individual youths/parents.

i know, i noticed it when i was reading it. i will give them a call tomorrow, if not, i will buy a regular savage rifle and installed a aftermarket peep sights my plan c.

Sorry, I assumed you just had to register with CMP like with their garands. Still a good looking option from somewhere else.
