    Aftermarket sight recommendation..

I just picked up another Ruger 10/22 and I was looking for some aftermarket sights. My eyes are getting up there in age so the factory sights don't cut it. Any recommendations?

I'm in the same boat, close up vision is failing so I can't quite focus on my sights like I used to.

If you're talking irons, I think Tech Sights are one of the most popular options.

If you're not talking irons, too many options and not enough information.

    Scope, RDS, Reflex, 1-4X...

Is this just a plinker, squirrel gun...?

I put one of these on my 15-22 and have been pleasantly surprised.

Too many hobbies, Too little time.

    Mind you, I'm 5'7", 180, with a visible Ab...

Tech Sights all the way. Put them on 3 different 10/22; shot Appleseed with them.

I tried the Williams WGRS aperture sight. Like the fit, but the rear sight was hard to adjust, and kept coming loose. The Williams FP and 5D series look like very nice sights...

Lyman makes some nice sights too...

Kinda depends on what you are looking for... M1 style, target style?

Tech Sights are the go to suggestion. I have had a few sets and they are tough to beat.

I have the Tech Sights on a Marlin 60 and they work fine, for a little more money you can also get the Skinner .http://www.skinnersights.com/ruger_firearms_22.html

I have the skinner sights on all my lever action rifles.

:-| I use tech sights all the time, but I don't like them, i prefer the A2 sights from an AR. I have only seen one 10/22 with A2 sights on it. I intend to try one day.

I have Nodak Spud NDS-26 / NDS-23 iron sights on my 10/22. They work quite well, but are a bit pricey. To this day I don't know if it was worth the extra $40 or so over the Tech Sights.

Those look interesting. Look like they are built well. Nice option to Tech Sights.
