I would second this. I bought 715 cheap without inspecting one because of length of pull for my kids and wife. When M&P 15-22's came down to under $400, I kicked myself.

        Don't most Big5 sell these?

Try Sportsmans Warehouse also. They usually have one in stock.

Thanks for doing the OP's shopping for him. While you're at it, can you fold my laundry?

Huh? Just passing on info for people that might have not done their research. Whenever someone comes on here and asks what 22LR to buy you never hear anyone say the 702 Plinkster would be a better choice over a Marlin 60/795 or Ruger 10/22. But that is effectively what is shoved into the plastic shell of the 915T.

Get the Mossy if you're sure that's what you want, but be sure. There's a reason is so much cheaper than the M&P.

I will say that my 15-22 with RDS on top may very well be the funnest gun I own.

The fact that you have it's big brother might be a good reason to justify getting the one you really want.

Lol sorry I misunderstood your goal op. Second using Davidson gun genie to find exactly what you want at a dealer near you. They will even tell you the exact otd amount you will be out of pocket. I have used them many times to get the best deal.

for $400, you might be able to find a name brand. used, dedicated AR22 with lowers you can put centerfire uppers on if you so choose.
