    Help with 795 FTF

I took one the 795's out today and had a bunch of FTF's. It has a Boyds stock with DIP guard and trigger.

The first round would fire. Then it felt like the trigger wouldn't travel enough to engage. I accidentally discovered pulling back on the mag would allow the round to fire. It did the same thing with 3 different magazines.

I normally leave the 795's stock but the molded in sling mount broke. So I went the upgrade route. I've had it out several times with no issues.

I haven't opened it up. Just checking to see if other have had a similar issue.

That was my first thought but I didn't have a small enough wrench to adjust it. I hope to get it opened up in the next few days.

Seems to me, I have read several posts on Marlins where the action slid forward in the stock, binding up. Try loosening the action screws and sliding the action all the way to the back before re-tightening the screws.
