    FTF Problem Marlin 995

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix issue with Marlin 995 bolt failing to close fully thus not feeding shell. Have tried all brands of bullets.
This happens approximately every shot fired.

Does the bolt close fully without a live round present?
If you remove the recoil spring does the bolt move freely and without binding?

If it's not the bolt hanging up, then maybe the live round is stuck entering the chamber.

Possibly the chamber needs a serious brass brush cleaning.
      Or,
The shape of the entrance to the chamber has become deformed.
Take a look at the entrance to the chamber where the firing pin lines up.
Is there any evidence of the firing pin marking and deforming the chamber?

22LR being fairly dirty I have seen build up in the bolt where the rim sits which could cause that. Of course a barrel obstruction would be my first inspection.
