I went to the Livermore range yesterday to sight in some long guns that I recently played musical scopes with.
One in particular was a Savage 64 SV-SR that I had not shot since purchasing new. I had put a Nikon Nikon ProStaff Rimfire 4 x 32.
After sighting in I shot a fairly good group, didn't measure, but it was as tight as I thought I could do at 50 yards.
I started out using Winchester Super X hollow point. This rifle, or should I say magazine, did not like hollow points.
Luckily I brought along some CCI Standard Velocity round nose. That shot very well with no issues.
I did this with the M-Carbo trigger kit. I have no data before the trigger up grade, but after, it appears to have done no harm.
