    Ruger SP-101 Grip question.

Was looking at an SP-101 in .22LR.Liked it,looked pretty solid.

Thought the grips were too small.Anyone have one and swapped the grips?

    Any recommendations?

Yes. I have an SP101 and swapped the soap bar grips, which i disliked, for a Hogue Monogrip. Huge improvement.

I used the Hogue as shown above. For me it is still too small. I have look high and low for a bigger offering, but Nada. So I will save you the time. Go Hogue or go home. Spent "Quality time" with my SP101 .22LR this weekend. Put about
200rds down the pipe. Ran like a top.

I went with Badger grips (center) and work extremely well. You might want to check them out.

Thanks for the replies. Those Badger grips look great.

The Hogue looks a liitle bigger which is what I'm thinking this gun needs. Was a little surprised at the size of the original grips.Gun appears to be solid and heavily build, would have expected a bigger handle.
