LH 17HMR AR15

Built this last year figured I would post a pic. I have a full custom LH Savage 93R17 but I needed one in a AR Platform so I bought the parts from Ray Vin all the same parts for his 22 magnum but I did a 17HMR Barrel and had to modify the barrel extension to work with the 17HMR its not perfect have some feeding issues every once and a while but it is fun as hell

It is fun as hell to shoot but I mainly built it for a coyote gun for 100 yards and under to be able to engage more than one coyote at a time. The 17HMR does a number on coyotes under 100 yards I use the 20gr XTP and they don't go far at all last one was 80 yards and didn't run 10 yards and piled up shot through both lungs.

I've got a buddy who lives out of state. He says that the .17 is a laser flat shooter.

I keep trying to get him to bring it so I can shoot it and see for myself.

Thank you. Same here that's why I had to build one. If I wasn't a lefty I would have bought a Alexander Arms 17hmr my Brother has one and It runs perfect.
