Chiappa m4-22 upper

Hey guys,

Have any of you tried the chiappa .22 upper?

Found a place that will sell it for $199 shipped.

Is it worth it? Reliable? Ammo picky?

I've got one. It's ok. I only have a few hundred rounds through it.

Feels cheap, but shoots fine, no problems yet.

I paid 199 also, but I've since seen it go for 160

get a 1022 or a better dedicated upper imo

the thing though.

i have a 10-22.. but i have a few lowers laying around.. figure with the lpk.. i can have this build for $350 ish

I think I only ran federal bulk through it so far. Not a single problem.

I also purchased one ($199 from combatarmory.com). It's been flawless so far. I've only fed it high velocity stuff and have had no issues. IMO it's worth the money. Perhaps feels a little cheap, maybe? Pretty upset when the price went down as it was only like a week after I placed my order

Is the upper receiver still made of polymer? If they switched to aluminium its worth a try.

It is still polymer. I put mine on a polymer lower I had laying around.
Very light.
I figured at that low of a price, it would have to really bad not to be worth it. I don't regret getting mine, I would do it again.
