    CZ 455 aftermaket bolt handle?

    Hi there,

I recently ordered a CZ 455 Varmit Precision Trainer. It arrived today and will now go into the CA 10 day quarantine. I did at least have a chance to see it. Everything looks and feels great, but I did think it deserved a nicer bolt handle. Since the handle is all one piece, its not a matter of unscrewing and screwing on a new aftermarket knob. Does anyone make nice aftermarket handle assemblies for the 455? Or is it a matter of paying $35 for a new one from CZ and having someone go to work on it?

    Cheers,

What's wrong with the stock model? I have a few and they look good to me.

Look at Sniper's Hide's rimfire section. There is a guy there who is supposed to do good work. I am getting ready to order a CZ 455 VPT myself and will probably send him my bolt.

If it's anything like my 452's you better make sure it will clear any scope that may get mounted. A small objective or fairly tall rings might be needed.
