Anyone have any improvements for the XD 940-4 conversion kit last rd hold open inconsistency issue?

Results
Remington Golden Bullet copper plated HP 525 box
3x 10 round magazines fired = 30 rounds. NO failures of any kind, and slide locked back on last round
Federal Hi-Power Plated RN
3x 10 round magazines fired = 30 rounds. NO failures of any kind, and slide locked back on last round
CCI Stinger copper plated HP
3x 10 round magazines fired = 30 rounds. NO failures of any kind, and slide locked back on last round
Federal Classic High Velocity Copper plated
3x 10 round magazines fired = 30 rounds. NO failures of any kind, and slide locked back on last round
120 rounds fired No failures of any kind

All rounds were fired quickly as opposed to slow fire.
From experience I would suggest doing a thorough lube on a new dry kit. I run mine wet. AR's also (they give a container of lube,use it)

This was a function test offhand at 25 yds not accuracy, but I hit the paper. The bulls eye had a force field

Install? I wouldn't call it that. Take off one slide and put on another.

Are conversion kits still legal? I was trying to buy one for my .44 DE (wanted to convert to 50ae) and no one would ship it to CA

Nice function report and coincides with my experience with my XD conversion.
Mine ate everything I put through it "recommend list or not". I don't have my paperwork handy were any of you ammo on the "Recommend List"?

I wish these were more like 200 than 300. I would jump on one for 200. Thanks for the report and heads up. I like my XD9 but it's still my least favorite gun. This might make it more fun.

If anyone knows my back story, this unit was more attractive than a new gun.(and cheaper)
Due to health reasons I have sold every gun I don't actually use.
Checking on my stuff however, I have one S&W 6 round .22 revolver and 8 K rounds of ammo.That's not gonna get the job done
so here I am
