    Silver Boy's

I was pretty jazzed when Uberti introduced their silver boy, then last year Henry got in the game with theirs.

I have yet to hold either one of these guns. I'm looking for members who have held, shot or compared the two, if so, please comment....

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I like Henry because it's made in USA.

I've held both, and own a Henry Silver Eagle (essentially an engraved Silver Boy). I don't know about the trigger on the Uberti, but I am continually pleasantly surprised by the very good triggers on the rimfire Henrys.

Whether you go with the Uberti or the Henry, you definitely need to check it out in the flesh before you buy one. I definitely notice the significant drop in the stock on both of the Silver Boys (and with my Silver Eagle). Shooting the gun you don't really have a "cheek weld" when viewing the sights, but a "jawbone weld". If you compare photos of the standard Henry 22 lever rifle to their Silver Boy, you will see the difference in the stock drop.

The Silver Boys, whether engraved or plain, are definitely beautiful rifles. But to me they are a little less comfortable to shoot than my plain old H001 or my H001TV (Frontier model in 17 HMR) due to, in my opinion, too much drop in the stock.

Yes this is true! Not a big deal. Although you will want to hold one first so you are aware of the hold needed
