Browning BuckMark, and the CA Roster

So I had the opurtunity to shoot a ruger gov mkii, and a rugwr mki with 6 7/8 barrel, as well as a browning buckmark with added factory 7.25 inch barrel.

They pretty much handled the same for me, and reliability was same with cci stingers.

So I have just bought a ruger rimfire pistol from a calgunner but thinking about getting a buckmark, and as usual the CA roster is holding me back because I really wanted a factory 7.25 inch barrel buckmark. But on the browning website it's different?
So does anybody have links to CA legal buckmarks like from buds, or rifle gear, other online stores?

I'm just thinking on buying the low end buckmark and buying a 7 inch barrel but then I have a useless barrel laying around, any suggestions?

Because of the F'ed up roster you will have to go with Plan "A". Buy what is on the roster, then modify to your needs. Look at all the hoops the AR guys go through. I have a box stock Buckmark with 5.5" barrel. Not sure what the extra 2" will do for you, but that is up to you. I am sure you have your reasons and you should be able to get what YOU want!!

With .22s kinda hard to the cost numbers to work buying out of state since you have to ship it to a CA FFL and that adds ~$75. I bought mine at Bass Pro in Mantica. Also try J&R in Livermore. Also, I think is saw one or two up for sale on WTS section on this site.

Last time I checked, I was surprised to see that Guns, Fishing, and Other Stuff in Dublin had a pretty good price on the Browning Buckmark.

There are lot's of buck marks on roster and the factory 7.25" barrel isn't that expensive.

You can look on the handgun roster, or brownings website, or any number of other places to find on Roster buckmarks but I recommend finding a place that has them in stock so you can check out the different grip styles, UFX, UDX, and URX in person.

Honestly though, you can't go wrong with a buck mark. They are all good. I don't think you gain much from the 7.25 barrel either except more weight out front. 5.5" is pretty long by most standards.

They do seem to have come up in the last month or so. Camper models were going for 330-350 most places and now my LGS has them marked at about retail. Probably all the excitement I generated on calguns! Sorry guys...

I recently bought my first gun a Buck Mark Standard URX from Shooters Paradise in Oxnard who had hem in stock!

Here is what I did last week using it for the 3rd time at 50ft...

I have a buckmark camper SS. wanted the 7.5" barrel but ended up buying it separate. Little pricier but it works well.

Nice! Is the bolt/ slide stainless or just the barrel?
Also how is the 7 inch barrel vs the 5inch?

The slide is aluminum. The 7.5" barrel is deadly
This is a Browning barrel not after market. It's solid SS so some what heavy but I like it.
