      Have you dis assembled the firearm?
      Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

      Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

      Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

      Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

          Yes I have disassembled the firearm and still could not find where it came from.

              Check the magazine, maybe it came from there.

                      Ask ATI if they recognize the piece and if anything needs to be done. If it is within the warranty period, you can probably send it back to ATI on their dime. I had very quick turn around on my GSG 1911 and it didn't cost me a penny.

                          ATI is pretty good on their warranty so far. My GSG 522 was missing a part. I contacted them, and they sent me that part right away for free.
