DPMS Build Question

I'm looking to get a complete DPMS 22 upper and wondered if I needed a special buffer for my Magpul CTR stock?

Would the regular buffer work?

You don't need the buffer with that upper, it's a "blow back" system so it doesn't use the buffer, in fact you may want to remove it so that it doesn't interfere with the bolt.
