If so, it would likely have been made to the exacting standards of the company it was made for. Even if Hoppe's brand BoreSnakes were made in China, they would be made to Hoppe's quality standards. The products that the OP is pushing here are cheap Chinese knockoffs of the Hoppe's brand. NuoYa001 stole the look, design, color, and even the product name of the Hoppe's brand BoreSnake. We just don't know if NuoYa001 stole the quality, too.

Or its the manufacturer making their own line using the same standards. Happens all the time with products. Samsung used to make the major parts of the iphone until Apple got pissed when they came out with their own line.

True, but some of the reviews suggested that the NuoYa001 "bore snakes" that they received were inferior to the Hoppe's brand BoreSnakes.

Some products are unavoidable. But when alternatives are available, I never buy anything from China.

The only reason the electronics industry become so concentrated in China is the hostile tax and labor policies of the US and California governments. "Globalization" has been oversold and many companies in a number of industries are moving away from China due to the many risks of being there.
