    1022 vs AR22

Probably been addressed, but currently have a stock 1022 with open sights, and a AR lower that I have built up. Thinking of either spending a few dollars on a scope and upgraded trigger for the 1022, or buying a scope and upper, possibly a Taccom.

Just going to punch paper, maybe eventually do a Appleseed with open sights, or go to SacValley and shoot steel, just have relatively cheap fun.

Seem like, at least at the beginning, the 1022 would be the cheaper route, and possibly more accurate route. Suggestions?

cmmg complete upper in .22lr. I have one and a 1022, and the cmmg dedicated is more fun to shoot. You can never go wrong with more than one 22 rifle. Taccom and cmmg make very accurate uppers. Just as accurate as a stock 1022 or a little better. You can add more accessories to a 1022 to ake it feel like an ar, but a dedicated 22ar is an ar so for training I feel a dedicated 22 ar is better, but thats just mho.
