No issues with mine and I have about 1000 rounds or more through it. I cleaned and lubed it before a round was ever shot and after each range trip. I have used just about every type of cheap 22LR ammo through it. Slow fire and rapid fire(all 10 rounds worth!). Haven't try the more expensive CCI, but I don't expect any issues with those.

I try to stay away from ammo with too much wax on them. It just gums up everything. Even handling wax covered ammo your fingers and hands become sticky, that can't be good for the function of mags and bolt.

I had a similar issue but about 3 months after purchase it was the Ammo and it was also Federal auto match. I looked through the rest of that ammo box and found like 3 rounds that were slight bulging. So would go all the way in to battery which caused the oob in my instance. S&W repaired it and returned it with 3 weeks. Federal never got back to my customer service inquiry. Since then I refuse to buy federal ammo. CCI OR Aguila or just about anything else. Got about 12K rounds through her now and still accurate as ever.
