    GSG 1911 22LR conversion kit

I bought a conversion kit and waiting to finish my 1911 80% frame so I can finally shot the damn thing [emoji2] .
I'm looking to buy more mags for it. I have a friend who has the Sig version. And the mags which if I'm not mistaken is made by the same company (GSG) should be the same correct?

The mags are supposed to have the same fit, feel, and weight of a 1911, but I only agree on the weight.

When in doubt email the manufacturer.

OK I figured it should be the same. On ATI's website they only sell one version of the 1911 22lr mag.

Its odd that the Sig mags r a little cheaper than on ati's website. At the gun shows or on the web the gsg mags goes for $35. But they r the same.

I hope you can provide an update once you get it to the range. Mine groups well at 25 yards, but it shoots 5" high, even with the tallest front post. Only took it to the range once, and haven't had time to diagnose it. Good news is it cycles with every high velocity ammo I have, not just CCI, but the rails on my Gold Cup are really polished, so that might help. Have fun with it!

That is strange that its that much off target.
                What is the gold cup?

1911 Series 80 Colt Gold Cup. Yes, it's strange, but it doesn't take much with a short barrel to cause that. I'm guessing something around the slide stop, or maybe the front bushing. I want to avoid machining, but I will if i have to, since I didn't pay enough for the kit to not take a chance to get it on target.

                    Oh OK.
I hope to get 80% finished soon. I had the conv. Kit for a while so I'm a little eager to get it done and hopefully everything will run smoothly
