sucks! I got one for a lower I had for my wife. Went to zero the thing and couldn't get through two mags without a failure to fire and three jams while feeding, one of which actually bent the casing. All with CCI Mini Mags round nose.

It seems that I could avoid the jams by gripping the mag (causing the mag to be held tighter into the magwell. Needless to say I'm a little pissed.

I m wondering if there are other mags that can be used with this upper.

I'm not familiar with your upper. But I'm going to pick up some black dog magazines for the upper I just ordered. I hear only good things about them.

Man, get your money back for that POS.

Get a CMMG .22 lr upper, mine has been reliable since day one with even the cheapest ammo.

Return that upper. If not, try the BDM mags. I have had no issues with the BDM mags out of a M4-22 upper.

CMMG is great stuff.

Not to familiar with the Plinker brand. But maybe you can use SW M&P 15-22 mags and the better mag adapter if it is standard AR15 upper. If you can that is the absolute best setup for a AR22 upper. SW mags are 100% reliable, a breeze to load. If the SW mags do not work, you have other problems.

Also polish the feed ramp on the bolt group, that may help..Good Luck

I have a plinker tactical sbr upper on a pistol. I have been struggling with jams as well. Unfortunately it uses proprietary mags so we are **** out of luck with that. I can say that the more i shoot it the less hiccups ive had with it.maybe the upper or magazines need some break in time. Id also like to point out that when the thing is working it is a tac driver!! Outshoots my girls m&p 15-22

I did notice that I shot relatively small groups even with all the feeding frustrations.

I need this to be reliable as it is my wifes and if it continually jams she will be quickly frustrated and stop shooting it.

What ammo you using? I use that AR tactical stuff and Aguilla super extra
