    Rem subsonic ammo?

    Per title,
Anyone use this stuff? Found some for 5 bucks a box, and the 10/22 actually shoots the stuff. Havent tried it yet in the marklll.
    Thoughts?

I've shot a bit of it through my 10/22. I haven't measured any groups, but it did well. No complaints.

Ran well in my custom 10/22. Nice and quiet. accurate.
Had some FTF in some of my Semi-handguns. S&W Mod 41 and Walther P22 had issues if I remember. Prefer standard velocity ammo. I used to buy a lot of this for shooting in my back yard.
Haven't shot any .22 lately. don't have much supply.

              For 50rds or 100rds?
If 50, no deal. Right now good supply of CCI std vel that is subsonic (1070ft/sec).
Going for ~$10/100 and it is good stuff. Will work in my 10/22 and zero failures to go "Bang" and cycle. Shot 1000s of rounds.

5bucks/50 rounds. I bought 6 boxes....just because. Where do i find ammo local? I hate to order online. I find it easier to buy 100 bucks a time vs $$$ at one time.

I like it, I have cases of it. mr rabbit recently posted on his experiences shooting it in a Sig Mosquito, where it ran decently well with occasional fail-to-extract (see his thread here).

My Marlin 70 sometimes fails to cycle it, but that's not really a big surprise. However it really shines in my CZ 452. Holds 1 MOA to at least 100 meters (the farthest I've shot it). I haven't had any misfires yet.

Cheapest I've seen it recently is 0.08 / rd. At $5/50 you did OK. Anybody seeing it for a nickel each, please let me know...

Interesting to read about, have not tried the rem subs. I've used the win. "superx" subs for at least 20 years & like it.

I think most of the sub-sonic stuff doesn't works in a semi-auto pistol and says so in the ammo description. I know I had some 22 match ammo (Eley I think) that was down around 850fps and I had all kinds of FTEs in my Mark III. It was fairly new at the time so it might work better now but I try to stay with ammo up in the 1000fps range.

                        Remington Sub-Sonic

I know I shoot Remington Target out of a number of "Oldies but Goodies" including my Cplt pre-woodsman woodsman and a Mossberg 44. For the most part, it feeds well seems to be consistant and continues to be a go to ammo if I can find it at WalMart

I'm a fan of Remington SS. Curiously, cycles both my 10/22 and SR22. I haven't noticed significantly improved accuracy out of my scoped American Rimfire using this versus Standard velocity ammo, but then again, I'm not that great of a shot.

I know that traditionally, target shooting with .22s is done with subsonic ammo in order to avoid stability issues caused by a projectile dropping from supersonic to subsonic speeds.

This shoots very well in my CZ 452. I am down to 140 rounds of this however I have a lot of SK and CCI standard velocity.

Works real good with a silencer. You don't even get the sonic boom as the bullet traveles downrange,
