I have an older Browning Takedown 22 with a 3/4" tube 4X scope mounted, it's branded as a Browning but Redfield manufactured. They're no longer made, hard to find and not cheap. A Chinese remake is being marketed as the "Wolf Pup" and I wonder if anyone has bought, used one. My expectations aren't exactly high, but have just bought a BL 22 Micro and really don't like putting a larger scope on such a small rifle. I have older Weaver C6, C4 and V22 that I could use but was thinking this might be better. The Weavers range from 35 to about 60 years old, optics are a touch tired.

Gru-Bee "Wolf Pup" Scope

I just got my hands on one today. Cosmetically, it's on par w/ the Redfield. The rings aren't AS nice, but they certainly aren't ugly. The eye relief is a little bit longer by maybe a 1/2" on the WolfPup, and it's clear all the way out to the edges (which is NOT the case on the original Redfield that I have). I posted a review w/ pics on rimfirecentral and hope to get her out to the range this weekend.
So far, it's looking like a winner.
Gru-Bee on top, original Redfield mounted. (they're the same size in case you were wondering)
