charter arms 22lr revolver

so i just got back from the range to shoot my new charter arms pathfinder target 22lr in 4.2'' barrel.

this is a nice lil shooting plinker. nice grouping using federal targetmatch 40g. also the revolver is sorta picky with ammo since it was getting light primer strikes when i was 36g hollow points. its a six shooter revolver, looks sorta like a shrunkin down gp100 others might differ but thats the closes i can get without pic

Light primer on a rimfire? Damn! I've been looking at getting one of those because they look like a full size revolver (cool) and cheap to shoot.

A good .22 revolver improves with age, much like a fine wine (not that I know much about good quality wine). They do seem to be a bit picky about ammo, especially considering the quality problems plaguing certain major manufacturers Hope you have as much fun with yours as I've had with my Taurus 94!

D/A heavy pull a lil gritty but that will improve the more I shoot it.. S/A it's crisp and real light I mean feather lite.

Cool! Light primer strikes are a bummer. I just picked up a Ruger Single Ten for cheap plinking action. It's a blast!

Charter arms triggers amaze me.
I have a 44 bulldog and the trigger is excellent, my son has a 38 and it too is excellent

A .22LR revolver should not have light strikes with ordinary Federal ammo.

I had my Smith install the Wolf Spring Kit in my Ruger SP101 .22LR to lighten the trigger and it still does not experience light strikes. It shoots all ammo that I've tried reliably. If the OP's gun is experiencing a significant percentage of light strikes then he should have the manufacturer or a Smith figure out why.

I am kinda interested in this model as its one of our few roster options for .22 revolvers. Haven't seen one in person.
