So im picking up a rossi 22/20 this week and am searching for scope mounts and a scope... its for my 9 year old, any suggestions?

I have a Rossi 22/20 Matched set that I bought for my son when he turned 8 and to this day he still loves to shoot it. Great choice...

Rossi makes a scope base specific to their guns that can be kinda hard to find. I mounted a red dot on my sons rifle and he really likes it using this base.

When my kids were young, taught them gun safety and shooting with an old Ithaca single shot. I never put a scope on their guns till they were a few years into shooting. I felt it made their field of view smaller and added too much for a young shooter to remember. Just my point of view
That being said any low power scope would work with young eyes.
