    J. C. Higgins Model 29 .22lr Auto

    Hello

I had a JC Higgins Model 29 that I got for Christmas back in 1953. Had it for years and it was stolen during a business move.

I recently found another one in Gun Digest. I also found a website with the owners manual which I printed.

Question: Does anyone know where I can get parts for this gun? I have not fired it yet but it feels like the recoil spring is weak.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

      Try Numrich: http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Manufact...tm?results=All

Rimfirecentral.com is another great resource for information.

another one you could try would be Jack First gun shop & gun parts in South Dakota.

probably a smaller inventory than Numrich but better customer service over the phone.
