    Save up a couple hundred more and buy the Smith & Wesson M&p15-22 AR. High quality gun, and a more legitimate AR copy.

      I have the S&W, more plastic than ideal, but it is a great trainer for the 5.56 and equally easy to tear down and clean.

      Proud to own it.

      The Mossberg sounds like a gun I would be proud to buy, but not own.

        Yup. The tacticool 22lr guns I like tend to breakdown like real guns. Guns like the Mossberg and GSG MP5 shoot okay but thy breakdown like toys.
