What scope base/mount for FN made Win M70 LA?

I recently purchased a new FN built winchester 70 LA, and have found out that they use different scope bases than the previous ones. Anyone know of any scope base/mount that will fit it?

Yes, I have searched the boards, there were mentions of people saying they had trouble finding a base, but then they neglect to mention which one they found.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Badger Ordinance on my FN, but that is short action. Badger does seem to make quite a few bases for various rifles. You ought to call them up and see if they have what you are looking for. You definitely want to be sure before you place the order, so you don't spend 150 bucks on a paper weight.

I sent the various companies an email asking if their base will fit (schedule does not allow for me to contact them by phone), and Brownells is the only one to respond so far. I messaged with the gun tech and he led me toward one of their 1 piece aluminum bases. I checked up the reviews on their products and did not find anything negative. Placed an order, so hopefully this base works out, if not then im out 40$, and will be buying a badger ordnance (Brownells gave me the item# for one that will fit).

When it arrives, and if it fits, I will be sure to post the results so others can find out what specifically fits.
