1-4x vs 1-6x?

I wonder how the Primary Arms 1-8 will be. $1300, so certainly not cheap, but less than most others I've seen in that zoom range. Made in Japan.

I might have to try the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6, price is very reasonable. First I get to read a bunch of reviews though.
