Leupold LCO red dot + D-EVO

Don't think I've seen a thread on this new optic on CG. But here's a link to it:

    It's only $3100. Bargain.

If its consistent with other Leupold products, I'm sure the street value will be much less and comparable to other comparable products like high end 1-6x scopes and Elcan SpecterDR.

We'll see. The combo costs more than their current Mk6 1-6x scope. Makes no sense to me.

From what I've been reading, you can easily mount the DEVO up with your current Aimpoint setup... So you need not run the LCO if you choose not to.

If you go with their rds and the D-Evo, yes, retail about 3 bills. However, the D-Evo itself is going to retail in the $1800 price range and is compatible with any other RDS you can mount in front of it.

They have a demo booth for this thing at SHOT and it's an impressive setup. Offers another good option for those who have a need to quickly switch from a fast RDS to a magnified optic of some kind. I liked what I saw at the demo.

The D-EVO alone is already listed under $1500 at OpticsPlanet, so I'd expect others to follow suit.

That actually looks pretty cool. I like that the scope has 4" of eye relief.

Aside from price, the downside IMO would be the chance that brass can get deflected back into the ejection port. It has happened to me while my Eotech magnifier was flipped to the side.
