    Green laser for ar pistol

I have a 7.5" adams arms AR pistol with BUIS and a red dot sight. I want to remove the red dot and replace it with a decent quality green laser.

There has been so much discussion about shouldering an ar pistol, I figure, screw it, I won't shoulder it, I will just use a laser and hip shoot the zombies.

There are so many different lasers, it's difficult to know the good from the bad. I want a nice clean beam, easy to turn on and off, sturdy, holds zero, uses standard cr batteries. any recommendations?

Sightmark SM25004 is pretty decent for the the money, typically goes for less than $150. It has the green laser as well as a 220Lm LED light. Switching is pretty easy via 3 small rubberized push-buttons on top of the unit. The included pressure switch also has three separate buttons inside it for selecting functions. I'm kind of "Meh" about the pressure switch, but other than that it seems to be pretty robust and the laser and light are both extremely bright. Daytime range for the laser is around 50-100 yards depending on ambient light. Low light or dark conditions and the laser is visible for much further than you'd ever shoot with a 5.56.

View all Sightmark products including riflescopes, night vision scopes, red dot sights, spotting scopes, binoculars, and boresights.

I have been running a Viridian X5L for some time now... I have used it on my AR, works fine, but I bought it for my home defense pistol.

If you really want to use a laser to shoot, I prefer something that's mounted directly on top or bottom of the barrel and in the same vertical axis so the only shift over distance that you need to deal with is vertical.
