    Optics/sights for 12-22TD?

Greetings and Happy New Year, all:

Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for either a decent aftermarket set of sights or a very small optic for my 10-22 Takedown? I'd like it to still fit in the bag that it came with and most scopes, even little ones cause it to not fit.
Not looking for anything expensive or to clip fly wings at 200 yards, just a little something better than the crap sights that came with it.
    TIA!

You mean a Ruger 10-22? If so, lookup the tech sites website, great aftermarket iron sights for the 10-22, & it'll fit in the TD bag! Good luck

I think the P223 carbine 3x scope fits in the bag. Nice little 3x scope that is great for plinking. Could also go with a MRD, like a FFII if you can still dig one up, last I saw them listed new in package were pretty cheap.

I put a Leapers/UTG 3-9x32 compact scope on a 10-22 takedown. Works well and fits in the bag. Cost: ~$80.00

I went with a standard 3-9x40 scope with Warne QD rings and bases that are guaranteed to return to within .0001 of zero.
I just remove the scope and put it in the long thin pocket next to the pocket for the barrel.

Like he said. Works well for me (scope comes with rings and you can use the base that came with your 10/22).
