Mako EOtech/Aimpoint Clone 3x/5x Magnifier

Anybody have one of these? $99-119 on CheaperThanDirt. 1/4 of the price of an EOtech version. I am just going to be using mine at the range or maybe plinking. I'm at the limits with 1x magnification and just need an aid for my eyes! Another option I've been looking at is the Larue Po Boy special, but it won't work with an EOtech magnifier, only an Aimpoint one.

Hmm... why do you want an EOTech magnifier instead of the Aimpoint? Use the LaRue mount - it's infinitely worth it. The AP magnifier is nicer than EOTech's 3X.

The Mako will be no better than a (cheaper) eBay one, so get one that fits the LaRue mount.

Just wanted an EOtech magnifier because I have an EOtech 516. I wil probably go with the Larue for now.

With my first purchase of a used EOtech I bought from a member here, they included a Clone 3x magnifier. It works, however the mount for it is low for the EOtech. It doesn't swing to the side either, its a twist off mount; which sucks since almost every time you place it back on its not in the same place. Making the RDS look off. It maybe better to save up and get the real magnifier if you plan on using it frequently.
