I'm thinking of a low power Nikon scope. Will the p series 3x32 hold up to the recoil?

I know the BDC Reticle won't line up but I can use the spot on software for my yardages.

I don't want a red dot due to astigmatism. Everyone I have tried looks like a coma to me.

I am open to others but I have had great luck with Nikon on all my other rifles.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a decent low power scope?

Hello,

I would recommend taking a look at the Vortex Crossfire II. It comes in 1-4x24 so you have a range of low-magnification options.



It will have no problem taking the recoil from your rifle, either.

That looks like it will fit the bill. I will be using this rifle for Hogs so I wanted low magnification.
The first time I hunted I missed a good opportunity because my scope was cranked up to 9X and I couldn't locate the animal in cross hairs fast enough.

That will be one fun rifle to hunt hogs with. I would defintely take a look at Nikon P-223 3X Carbine scope. It has become one of my favorite Nikon scope's available. I do some PR work for Nikon and have opportunites to test out allthe latest and greatest scope's form them. I have now purchased 3 for my own AR's.
This compact scope in a fixed 3 power also has a 32 mm obj. for better light gathering, field of view and the bDc reticle is easy to dial in to whatever cal. I am using. I have 2 of these scope's on .300 BO's and one on my son's Comp. AR.
Pretty hard to beat for under $150! I have 1000's of rounds under these scope's without any issues. Check out the P-Series AR mount if you decide on this scope. The 2 piece mount makes attaching the scope and mount to your AR very easy.
