Primary Arms/Holosun Micro Dot

So I stumbled across a great deal on Amazon for a Holosun Micro Dot, I believe it's their earlier models (HS403A) and I have a few of questions:

1) Are these any good? Is it as tough, rugged, durable and reliable as Primary Arms Micro Dot Advance Red Dot?

2) I'm putting this on an Ultimak AK forward mount, will it perform just fine despite the heat from the Ultimak rail and with the low mount installed, will it co-witness with the standard AK irons?

The biggest issue is that it isn't compatible with T1 mounts. I have the PA version for that reason.

They also say it's NV compatible at the two lowest settings, true?

Didn't realize the holosun didn't work on t1 mounts. Glad I have the PA.
lowest two settings are still visible to the naked eye, so if imagine pretty bright in nods.

Yep. I prefer ed the traditional battery placement over the holosuns.

I like the traditional side mounted battery too, I think with the bottom battery placement on the Holosun the heat from the Ultimak rail may just break this thing. I'm beginning to have buyer's remorse lol.

Just got the HS403A and will be posting a review soon.
Clear dot, although some reflection in the housing. I've heard the new PA dot is the same.
Comes with the required AR lower 1/3 mount and a low mount for shotguns/AKs.
Battery life is insane but its location is weird.
I just sent a bunch to the Ukranian Army. They love them.

^^ Sent a bunch to the Ukranian Army? I'm not sure if you're making a funny or being serious lol. Anyways, you think it'll handle the heat from the AK Ultimak rail? I don't prefer the AK side mounts because they add a bit of weight and get in the way of field stripping the rifle.

FYI -- Primary Arms are now back in stock with their Advance Micro Dots, it'll be interesting to compare both models side-by-side.

I have one on an Ar, for the price amazon is offering it at, it's definitely worth it. Have only good things to say about it so far.
