Scope for Marlin XLR

Fellow Calgunners;
I've learned so much from this forum over the past couple years but I
could use your help again. I just got my new Marlin 1895 XLR (SS) in
45-70. It's an awesome shooter but I would like to scope it occassionally
to help me see better out to around 200 yds. Any suggestions?

I installed a 3x9x40 blued scope on my 45-70xlr just like all of my other rifles.
