Eotech 512 Refinish

Hi guys,

I been looking for a cheap Eotech in the $350 range and I came across this deal: http://www.botach.com/eotech-512mo-h...-weapon-sight/

Its an Eotech 512 which I'm okay with but I don't really like the mossy oak finish. Has anyone ever picked one of these up? I'm thinking about buying one because of the attractive price at only $315 (cheaper than some used black 512's I've seen) and either using cerakote or duracoat to refinish. I've seen some people duracoat regular black or fde Eotech512's but I'm not sure if the mossy oak finish is the same material used on the black/fde. Would I be able to apply duracoat or cerakote and expect the same results? Thanks in advance!

I think I've seen these in black for that price here and there. Black friday is about to happen, bet you'll find awesome Eotech deals.

Thanks Dave, I'll probably wait it out a bit to see if any deals come up in the next few weeks. So far nothing on slickguns for anything close to $315.

I've actually purchased Eotech 516 a couple of times for $360 or so. I have seen the 512 for $320 here and there.

I recently saw some police trade in 512s for like $150 but they sold out quick.

IIRC I paid like ~$350 shipped for my last EOTech 512 + 3x Magnifier. They go on sale for killer deals. The best is when you get the $50 rebate and catch a dealer sale, you can get a 512 for just barely above $300-$320 (New).

I would agree, with black friday coming, you can pretty much bet on the fact that someone will have an EOTech promo.

You got both Eotech 512 and the magnifier for $350 total or $350 each? I saw a deal for $750 for both, but I think they're sold out by now.
