sightron fixed scope coated or not?

I'm looking at a Sightron 36x42 scope they offer it with a coating for a few hundred more. is it worth it? any experience with these?
How about the warranty?

BTW- my bench gun has a Leupold 45x45 and I could not be happier.
Thought about trying something different.

You mean the SII and SIIB models? I have the SII 36x42(not currently mounted on anything), but I haven't looked through the SIIB to be able to tell you the difference.

That's the model I was looking at, they offer a SIII with coated lens for a few hundred more? what ya think?

I didn't think the SIII's were in fixed magnification above 10x. I know they have some 10-50x60 models that would offer a hair larger of an exit pupil and max magnification, but I don't have any experience with them. Those SIII's are a hell of a jump in price though from the SIIB 36x42(midway has the SIIB on clearance).

I honestly can't give you a recommendation other than to maybe find a forum a little more dedicated to BR(or possibly even over at rimfirecentral, a lot of those guys like the high magnification scopes as well) if you can't get your hands on 'em to look through them in person. My experience with the SII 36x42 isn't bad(the scope works perfectly fine and it was mounted to a rimfire rifle that I shot at 50 and 100 yards, so nothing ever beyond that), but every now and then I'd end up with "one of those days" where the miniscule exit pupil would drive me nuts. But that's a problem with the magnification and objective lens diameter, not with the scope itself.

I own the Sightron Slll 10x50 60mm. It is a great scope very crisp and clear and had great reviews. Tracks perfectly. I have never had any problems with it. Mounted to a B.A 110 in 300 Win Mag. Even set on 50xmagnification it is crisp and clear.
