Mount height for TRS-25 on AR?

Hi! just got my TRS-25 on amazon for $65! I wonder what mount should I use if I want it to co-whiteness my front and rear sight? Its the Standard A2 front sight and MBUS rear sight.
It doesnt have to be QD and doesnt have to be expensive brand. I am trying to keep the cost as low as possible.

    Thanks

I got a UTG riser. I'll go look for the package and post a pic.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

You can buy the smallest increment in riser from utg. They are cheap. In my AK for example I use no risers and the red dot is above the front sight slightly so you can't see it through the trs. I personally would advise to abandon co witnessing through trs 25. Too small.

I hate to say it, but UTG risers will do. If you want co-witness, .83" is absolute, 1.0" is lower 1/3.

I use the 1" UTG. About the only UTG part I will still use. Can be had for like $10 to the door on E Bay. MANY folks use the UTG with the TRS

The Bushnell Tall is 1" and is the standard that comes with the ones with a riser. You can buy the Bushnell separately for about $25

This. I have the 1.0 and love it. Don't listen to the FUD about UTG risers... they work great, look great and are a steal.

I am considering the utg. My only concern was that utg seems to be a cheap chinese airsoft stuff brand, but now I am going to get that

I own a couple of them, and I don't really like them, to be honest. It's not all FUD. Looks are subjective, so I can't really argue that (I honestly hate the look of them, but who cares if it does it's job).

As for "doing it's job," You really have to make sure you crank down on the small knob/clamp (that gives minimal leverage/torque, and has no provision for use of a tool for tightening), and there's no real guarantee that it won't work itself loose over time (mine did twice in three years). I don't really trust 100% to hold zero over a long period of time, since you can't even really coat the threads in thread-locker like you could with a screw-type clamping mechanism. For .223 loads in a semi rifle, it's probably ok if you are just using it at the range, but check the tension on the clamp fairly often.

It shouldn't interfere with that optic, but I had problems with the adjustment knobs interfering with other accessories when I used it to mount them.

As for being a steal, that is its greatest virtue. It is CHEAP.

That's why I said earlier that "I hate to say this..."

It's not airsoft equipment, like some will complain about, but it's also not really quality. If you know and accept its limitations, it's fine. Just don't be surprised later.

Thanks for your input! since I am not using my AR to shoot bulleyes at 500 yards. Its just my 50-100 yards range rifle and HD rifle, as long as it does a reasonable amount of job. I will take it for $10

I would use this mount on the range. I would NOT use it for HD, unless I had to (and for awhile I did). Now that I have better options available, I would NOT use it for HD.

Here's a link to the 0.83" Medium riser for absolute witness.
