going to be doing some long range shooting and have a budget of . I have a couple I am considering and are both in the general same price range so its sort of apples to apples.

* selling point for me is the glass, its parallax adjustment location, european glass, scored well in various tests.
* dislike the reticle options. i could probably live with the mil6 scope reticle or the MSR, but the MSR is almost 500-600 more today which I cannot justify.
Vortex Gen 2 4.5-27x
* new product, good glass, locking feature on the wind/elevation turret, lots of guys running it and doing well with it, i like the open center reticle.
* dislike the color a little bit as a I prefer straight black, no long term tests to reference, but they are a reputable company so its probably fine,
