Deltapoint 2 availability?

Hi

I ordered a 3 MOA Deltapoint 2 from a major vendor back in August and it immediately went into back-order. I get a notice every month, stating that it is still on back-order. I went on the Leupold site and it doesn't have a listing for the Deltapoint 2. Has anyone actually purchased and received a DeltaPoint 2 in recent months?

Got the definitive answer from Leupold.

The Deltapoint 2 has not been released and as of this time has been put on hold indefinitely. During the design and development of the Delta Point 2, technological advancements led to feature improvements which were incorporated into the Delta Point Pro. These innovations in the Delta Point Pro superseded those in the Delta Point 2 and made the DP2 redundant to the robust, feature rich DP Pro. Leupold will be fulfilling our US Military and Law Enforcement customers first and will make the Delta Point Pro commercially available first half of 2015. In the interim, the Delta Point will be made available for the commercial market.
