You're joking, right?
I can't speak to the glass on the Burris. PA glass has been really good for the money as of late, though I can't speak to this specific scope's glass personally.
The reticle, however, is a no-brainer. The PA reticles (2.5x & 4x) have BDC, but also have better ranging functions, and moving target holds. The 4x version has wind holds as well.
As for the quality of the Burris overall, I've been seeing a LOT of complaints about the reticle being canted (BDC not verticle), and at 3x the BDC being too small to be useful. I suspect that last bit is partly a function of people not knowing how optical devices work, but the Burris reticle lines do seem a bit thick to me, so it may crowd out the BDC. -
Love the PA reticle. I have a Burris AR-536. The reticle is slightly canted but I can still shoot pretty well with it. I'll probably eventually switch to the PA 1-6x ACSS.Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...Comment
