    Recommendations for a Scout Scope

I have several milsurp rifles that have these types of sites on them:

I enjoy shooting them but quite frankly, with mid-50's eye site - it's getting harder and harder to get a sit picture (which effects me hitting the target)

Some of guns have this site: (This is for a Remington M1903a3)

    or

I have no problem with these site, just the other ones.

I've heard NCstar makes some decent scopes but have had no experience, so how about some recommendations? I don't want to do anything permanent, so drilling or taping mounts. Also will I need a cheek pad as well?

Probably - I seen some (can't remember where, another sign of getting old-er).

I was think about putting one my Yugo 24/47, here is a example pic of the rear site:

      Here's the rifle:

Could also use a much longer eye relief scope like a pistol scope..

I have a yugo m48a. It is mounted with an S&K mount & Leupold M8. It's rock solid and there are no permanent modifications to the gun.

Wow. The eyepiece is is pretty far out there and it looks forward-heavy.

Kind of an odd angel on the pic. The setup works perfect. the barrel was trimmed and re-crowned.

I put a pistol scope on a 60 dollar mosin since both the front and rear sight were destroyed. It was a cheap one at first but I believe the recoil was causing it to lose zer, sinc eI'd dial it in and it'd slowly work itself out. I put a Bushnell (State of Florida loyalty and all) scope on it next, this one http://goo.gl/muTbRK and it has worked well for the last few months
