Harris mount recommendations

Hi guys,

So I am building a 5.56 and planning to mount a Harris on this one with a scope. I bought a cheap mount and immediately sent it back due to its ill-fitting and looseness once I attached the bipod.

I have been looking at the GG&G mount and seem to think that is the route to go. Can you guys make any recommendations for a rail mount that doesn't cost more than the bipod itself and possibly swivels?

Here are 2 that I've personally used

This is the one I use with my current AR build Harris (set up on a carbine length rail). Haven't had any issues with it.

I've used American Defense mounts on other optics, and have yet to have any issues with them. The AD mount is much sturdier, and built better, but clearly more expensive.

The first I just sent back....it was just too loose, the price was right but in reality it probably was not going to last IMO.

The second is nice.

The ADM is solid. I was using one on a railed McMillan. Never came loose, easy on and off. If you do not need quick detach and want to save some coin, look here at the GGG and YHM. I used the YHM years ago on an AR and it was very solid.

I would stick with the American defense then. They're solid budget mounts and I doubt you will have any trouble with it.

I have a yhm mount on my ar with a Harris bipod and it's worked rather well
