I received a brand new burris scope last week through their lifetime warranty. All I did was email them and they sent me a form. It asked for basic info such as return address and reason for sending it in. (it was a 2 year old scope and the reticle seemed a bit canted). I shipped it to them at my expense via usps with tracking. I was the second owner and the next thing I know a tracking number was emailed to me.

I bought a used, broken Leupold scope off of Ebay and sent it in for repair to Leupold under warranty. They had it about 4 weeks and sent it back to me completely rebuilt for free.

I lost a rubber eye piece off a newer Weaver scope. After 6 months and about 20 phone calls they finally let me buy a replacement rubber eye piece.

Do not even get me started on BSA war
Brand new out of the box bad scope. Return it with $10 fee. Get another back and same thing and another $10 wasted. Third one has worked for 1 month.
        Moral: BSA= Back Slowly Away

Equally bad experience with Trashco Scopes. Bought 5 at once. Three were broken right out of the box before mounting. Same type of run around. Ended up using them for targets in the end.
Will never deal with Trashco again or own their product.

Had a turret problem with a Bushnell scope. Called the company and they sent a new turret free.

Own 20-25 Leupold scopes and never had a problem with one.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Also remember the best war is one you will never need....so get Leupold.
I have a couple friends that had high-end Leupold scopes that needed to go back for tracking issues... which they did take care of. One of them needed to go back twice.

Eventually they both sold them in favor of other brands that offered more value for their dollar.

That brand isn't what it used to be. They make decent stuff, but I think it’s like Bose, you are just paying a premium for the name, not necessarily a better product.. I don't think the make an optic that is better or worse than anything else out there... they just charge more the same.

Today’s scope market has a lot of players who make quality stuff… Getting tied into one brand just means you are missing out.
