I've sold my Leupold AR Mark 1 1.5-4x scope a few months ago, and was thinking about picking up another scope. Unfortunately, I really liked how light the Leupold was... Just the scope itself, only weighs 9 oz. While Vortex Viper weighs 16 oz. Is there another scope thats as good as Leupold's AR Mark 1 that has the same weight? Planning to put it on my lightweight ar-15 build.

The Trijicon TR24 is 14 oz. And as you already know, Leupold makes some of the lightest scopes out there. -
If you have the coin, the Kahles 1-5 is Amazeballs. At 16oz, it's crystal clear, amazing FOV, daylight bright reticle, and reticle supported by a ballistic computer.
The PST is my favorite under/around the 500 mark.

I don't think that there is a lighter scope than the Leupold. Everything else I've seen looks to be heavier. If you want a light mount for the optic Aero Precision has some that are less than 4 oz. ADM mounts are 7 oz. (ADM AD SCOUT)
9 oz. scope plus 7 oz. mount is 16 oz.
16 oz scope plus 3 oz. mount is 19 oz.
It's a difference but not much. I would say go for the Leupold with the Aero. 12 oz. total!AW flowchart links:
