    Tasco EuroClass

took delivery of the new-to-me Rem 700 .243 today. I had been planning on replacing the scope but am having trouble finding much info on the one on there... Tasco 5-20x44... Looks like an older model so I wonder if it could have been made before they went to pot (as I have heard most people say they have).

Anyone use one of these? any thoughts? Im going to the range tomorrow and leaving it on to try it. Ill report back.

I saw you mentioned that scope in your other thread. Yea, some of those older Japanese Tascos are very clear. At least to my eyes.. The reticles are ol' school in 'em of course but for the distances and the type of shooting that you said you were planning to use it for I don't think they are a problem. If it is indeed that clear gem I 'm talking about, isn't overly bulky and heavy for you and has enough field of view at the lowest zoom I, in all honesty, don't see a single reason to swap it for anything else.
