Picatinny flip mount

Ok I have a kind of random question. I am looking for a Picatinny flip mount that will flip my optic to the side so I can use my iron sights. I can only find the flip magnifier mount. So, to clarify I am looking for picatinny (bottom) to picatinny (top) flip mount.

Doesn't exist, to my knowledge. As far as i can tell, it's too hard to maintain zero when you flip back and forth.

Even the best magnifier flip mounts have a little slop in them. With an RDS, it's the red dot that holds zero, so it doesn't matter if the magnifier is off a bit.

Your best options are a QD sight mount or 45-degree offset iron sights (as cited above).

I would not recommend a flip mount for your optic. I have one for my magnifier and there a play back and fourth with it. As stated above get some 45 degree sights.

What optic do you have? I have an aimpoint pro and my Irons when flipped up co-witness with my dot. I can see them through the glass if my optic were to fail.

Doesn't exist and you wouldn't want it to for the reasons already stated. Get some 45 degree sights, problem solved, no wandering zero issues.

Ok. Thank you for some ideas guys. I will look into the 45 degree mounts.
