OP
Have you clamped on the sight and it is canted?
Was it machined to spec?
Is the gas block on level?Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Ok... and it has flat surfaces when folded. Set a level on the upper receiver, level the rifle. Then put a level on the gas block, level the gas block. Done. If you don't have a level, I'm sure harbor freight has one for 99 cents, and your normal local hardware store probably has a cheap one made in china for $2 that will work. If you want to be really fancy, you could spend $2.50 and get a circular level instead of having to move the level between to directions to get the receiver level first.Last edited by Merc1138; 08-21-2014, 8:54 PM.Comment
